Counselling is a confidential space for you to discuss sensitive matters and I will respect your need for privacy. Please note that there are limits to confidentiality whereby I have a duty to share information with third parties. If you were to disclose that your or someone else is in present danger or at risk of harm, confidentiality would be broken. Please note that before confidentiality is broken, we would discuss this beforehand.
At Zao we offer open-ended counselling which means initially there will be no specific end date. During your first session, we will negotiate how we would decide when to end and how much notice to give. We will have weekly sessions, with each session lasting 50 minutes. We will meet at the same time, place and day each week.
